LSG’s Spend Management Spinoff; aXpire

From its humble beginnings off a dining room table, then atop a garage in the UK, LSG has expanded into the US, India and Asia Pacific. It has designed, developed and deployed a number of cloud-based workflow and payment processing platforms, intended to empower clients’ mid- and back-offices. More recently, data analytics and blockchain has played a large part in LSG’s history, taking advantage of the significant data pools available from working with multinational clients over the years.

A history of working with some of the largest insurance companies and Third Party Administrators (TPAs), such as Chubb, Aviva, Sedgwick and Gallagher Bassett, has enabled LSG to gain experience across the globe. In terms of other big brands, we also have plenty of experience working with household name clients, such as Coca Cola, United Airlines, Nike and and the NFL.

LSG built a strong management team of experts, from various technology, consulting, data analytics and legal backgrounds. This team has nearly 90 years of combined experience in payment, spend management technologies and technology implementations, which can drastically reduce the human/manual effort.

aXpire was conceived from a customer request at a large, NYC-based hedge fund.

Complex requirements drove the design process, and throughout 2017, the aXpire team, in concert with the client, went through a series of system iterations, user acceptance testing and refinement, to produce the Resolvr spend management platform.

This cloud-based and AI-enabled blockchain spend management application removes paper, pdf and spreadsheets (PPS) from the internal mid- and back-office functions, and enables inter- and intra-departmental processes to be fully digitized. PPS to Digital. Think “Slack + Task Rabbit” for the B2B customer.

Aimed initially at asset managers within hedge funds, private equity funds and insurance carriers, the Resolvr tool is being functionally enhanced to improve compliance data capture and reporting, data analytics and the use of blockchain technology will provide for e-bidding by vendors, for client projects and work packages.

Our roadmap is clear, and the Resolvr app is now live and deployed within its anchor client, a NYC-based hedge fund. We aim to deploy the aXpire spend management solutions into a wide spectrum of industry verticals, to digitize the mid- and back-office functions and to have an active sales pipeline to drive new growth / expand into the B2B (and potentially) B2C verticals in the near future.
